Code Savvy - Summer Connections #3

Updated: Oct 2, 2020

This summer, we will use our newsletter to highlight a variety of people, organizations, and resources that are doing work to broaden participation and expand equitable and engaging computer science and STEM opportunities. We are honored to work in this space along with so many talented and passionate individuals and organizations and want to help bring attention to their work.

this week’s spotlight: University of MN Press

The University of Minnesota Press is committed to challenging white supremacy, police violence, and unequal access to criminal justice, education, and resources in Minnesota, the United States, and throughout the world. To promote understanding and action for change, their collection of antiracist books is available to all to read online for free through August 31, 2020.  Read a statement from the press here.

This week's theme is: NATIONAL PARKS & RECREATION MONTH

July is National Parks & Recreation Month!

This CS to Go Intermediate Video will show you how to make an image gallery. You could take pictures at a park near you and upload them to your gallery! Remember, this is just a suggestion; use your own creative genius to create a personalized project!

We hope you create a CS project in honor of National Parks & Recreation Month! If you do, please share it with us.
